It is the policy of Edmonds School District to support continuing research into all facets of school district operation and to explore methods of implementing the findings of such research.
The district maintains membership in the School Information Research Service (SIRS), a Washington State organization, authorized by statute and operated jointly by the Washington State School Directors' Association, the Educational Service Districts, the Washington Association of School Administrators, and the Association of Washington School Principals, for the purpose of collecting and disseminating information primarily related to school administration within the State of Washington.
