It is the policy of Edmonds School District to work cooperatively with the Washington State Division of Children and Family Services to protect children from abuse and/or neglect.
The superintendent or designee will notify the Children's Protective Services of significant district programs for the prevention of child abuse and neglect including the personal safety curricula designed to prevent sexual abuse.
A written agreement between the district and the regional division of Children and Family Services may define the legal responsibilities of the parties and provide guidelines for implementing such responsibilities.
