8430 - AUTHORITY TO SOLICIT DONATIONS AND CONDUCT FUNDRAISING
ACTIVITIES IN SUPPORT OF GENERAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS

It is the policy of the Edmonds School District to permit soliciting donations in support of general education programs provided that the use of said donations is linked to an activity for some specific district purpose.
Fundraising activities may be conducted to support general education programs, provided that the activity would promote K-12 education, would promote the effective, efficient, or safe management and operation of the school district, or both.
