Students shall maintain appropriate conduct on the district's school buses in order to provide for safe and efficient transportation of the district's students. Bus drivers shall have the responsibility and authority to maintain discipline on school buses and to recommend to the appropriate school administrator that disciplinary action be taken.
Student misconduct on a school bus may be sufficient cause to discontinue transportation privileges to a student and/or apply other authorized student discipline. The superintendent shall be responsible to develop and approve procedural rules and regulations to establish expectations and implement this policy.
Parents or guardians of a student who damages a school bus will be responsible for restitution to the school district.
