Students through grade 8 will not be released from school during school hours except (a) to a parent or legal guardian (b) to a person authorized to remove the student by his or her parent or legal guardian, (c) pursuant to court order, or (c) to a law enforcement officer acting under statutory authority to take protective custody of the student or to make a warrantless arrest.
