7353 - STUDENT TRANSPORTATION POLICY

It is the policy of Edmonds School District that the transportation of students and student groups shall be by District transportation or bonded carrier whenever practical or possible. When District transportation or bonded carrier transportation is not practical or possible, the transportation of students and student groups may be by authorized personal vehicles in accordance with the administrative procedures. The administrative procedures address the following methods of student transportation:
I. Staff Member Use of District-Owned/Hired Vehicles
II. Staff Member Use of Personal Vehicles
III. Non-Staff/Volunteer Use of Personal Vehicles
IV. Student Driver Use of Personal Vehicles
V. Training and Authorization of Drivers and Vehicles
