4305 - USE OF SEAT BELTS AND/OR OCCUPANT RESTRAINT SYSTEMS

It is the policy of Edmonds School District that all persons operating or riding in the following designations of vehicles while on district business shall use seat belts or the entire occupant restraint system in the prescribed manner:

  1. all district-owned vehicles, except school buses;
  2. all private vehicles being used for district business and receiving mileage compensation; and
  3. all private vehicles being used to transport students or district employees.
