It is the policy of Edmonds School District that the Board authorizes the transfer of budget line items, upon the directive of the superintendent or designee, up to a maximum of fifteen (15) percent of any given General Fund program or Capital Projects Fund project. Increases in any one program of the General Fund Budget or in any one project appropriation in the Capital Projects Fund Budget in excess of fifteen (15) percent of the amount in the adopted budget will require prior approval of the Board of Directors.
In managing budgets set up within the General Fund for individual schools or programs, modification of the budget by the principal or program managers must have the authorization of the appropriate Cabinet level supervisor.
