It is the policy of Edmonds School District to use a program-oriented system of budgeting consistent with state statutes. The budgeting system is to express in financial terms the major programs to be performed by the district. Programs and activities are to be organized to meet stated goals and objectives. The budgeting system will be supported by an accounting structure organized and operated on a basis to facilitate program planning and accountability.
