It is the policy of Edmonds School District that the Board of Directors may appoint advisory committees and task forces to help solve school problems. All such committees shall be appointed by the Board by action in an official meeting. A committee shall be commissioned for specific purposes and for designated periods of time which have been identified in writing by the Board.
The function of an advisory committee shall be to give advice and make recommendations to the Board. The Board reserves the right to accept, reject, or return reports to a committee for further deliberation.
