It is the policy of the Edmonds School District that no standing committees of the Board except a committee of the whole shall be authorized, but special temporary committees may be appointed by the president or chosen by vote of the Board of Directors. The function of special committees shall be fact-finding, deliberative and advisory, but never legislative or administrative. The superintendent or his/her appointed representatives shall be eligible for membership on such committees.
The Board as a whole shall constitute an auditing committee.
