It is the policy of Edmonds School District that the Board of Directors is composed of five members. All members represent the district as a whole, although each member at the time of his/her election must reside in one of the five director districts of the school district.
Term of Office
Each member of the Board of Directors shall be elected for a term of four
years by the registered voters of the school district and shall assume
office at the first meeting after he/she is qualified. In case a member
or members of a board of directors are to be elected to fill an unexpired
term or terms, the ballot shall specify the term for which each such member
is to be elected.
The Board of Directors is responsible to the electorate of the school
district and to the State of Washington.
