Board Duties
The Board of Directors is the educational policy-making body with powers derived from the State of Washington and the electorate of the school district. The Board shall concern itself primarily with broad questions of policy, planning and development.

The major specific functions and responsibilities of the Board are set forth in the Board of Directors' Job Description.

Personal Liability of Directors
Washington State law specifies that school directors shall be personally liable for any expenditures which exceed the approved final budget total.
