A 21st Century grant enables us to provide a reading
and mathematics program after school and during the summer for students
needing an extra "boost".
· We have a strong technology emphasis with one of the best student-
to-computer ratio in the district and a strong interest in using technology
to improve instruction and learning.
· Each day, we announce whether or not we were able to achieve
a Peace Day as part of our anti-bullying, anti-harassment, anti-violence
initiative. A single violation, like pushing or name calling will prevent
us from achieving a school-wide Peace Day.
· Each month, we focus on a different character trait throughout
our school, as part of our character education program.
· Student can obtain additional homework support during lunch
recess at Study Club.
· Enrichment activities include National History Day projects,
all school play, choir and Destination Imagination.
