Peggy Hohnhaus

Classroom Information

Mrs. Hohnhaus has been teaching at Lynndale for many years. She did her student teaching at Lynndale and she stayed! Her favorite lesson is planning a Washington Weekend - planning a 3 day trip in Washington using the internet for research and presenting a slide show of the trip.

If Mrs. Hohnhaus were not a teacher she would like to be a librarian.

Mrs. Hohnhaus has degrees from Purdue University and the University of Washington. Her favorite subject in school is reading because she likes learning about other people and reading adventures. She especially enjoyed biographies and Nancy Drew mysteries when she was a child.

If she were to go on a trip she would like to go to many different places, especially Greece and Italy because of the history in those countries.

Mrs. Hohnhaus is a recepient of the Gates Grant and has added many computers to her classroom and attended special training provided by the Gates Foundation.
