PLAN Test for Sophomores - Nov. 18th |

|
The PLAN test will be offered at EWHS on Wednesday, November 18th at 7:15AM in the gym. The PLAN test is a practice ACT and skills/aptitude inventory. The ACT is one of two college entrance exams required for most college applications. The cost of the test is $10 and sign-up is in the main office. If you have specific questions about the PLAN test you can see your counselor. The test is a great way to get a report on how to improve on test-taking and great practice for college entrance exams. Please register in the EWHS Main Office; make $10 check payable to ESD. |

Kathy Ludgate, the IB Coordinator will share information about the IB Program and application process. You must reside within the boundaries of the Edmonds School District to be eligible for this program. |

SENIOR YEARBOOK PHOTOGRAPHS |
|

Senior pictures and quotes will be need to be in the yearbook office on March 1st. Please use the following specifications:
Format: The picture must be submitted in a JPEG or TIFF format on a properly labeled CD. Do Not send pictures via E-mail!
Size: Please send us a large picture file (3” X 5” or 4” X 6”) at the highest quality setting. We will Photoshop and crop the picture to get the best fit for the space allotted on the page.
Resolution: The picture file must be a minimum of 300 dots per inch.
Background: We have no requirements for backgrounds or colors. The picture may be inside or outside. Be aware that not all the pictures will come out of an ink-based printing press the way it looks on your computer screen. Neutral colors and natural outdoor light will yield the best results.
Head Size: We would prefer a shot from the waist up and something that reveals a little of the personality of your outstanding son or daughter.

POINTSETTIAS & WREATHS NOW on Sale! |

The annual EWHS Poinsettia & Wreath Sale is on! The class of 2012 is selling Poinsettias and Evergreen Wreaths this holiday season to raise funds for their class.
These floral quality Poinsettias come in your choice of 4 colors. They are in 6” diameter pots, and cost $12.00 each. We are also selling Evergreen Wreaths. The Wreaths are 24” in diameter and are of mixed evergreens and pinecones and are $18.00 each. The plants will be available for pick up at the high school, on Saturday, November 28, 2009. We will call and email you to remind you of this date.
