The Elizabeth Hodge Scholarship

This art scholarship was established in recognition of STARS co-founder and past board member, Elizabeth Hodge. Elizabeth inspired this scholarship through her dedication to enrich education particularly the visual arts by awarding up to $500 to an Edmonds Elementary student, past or present, for the pursuit of advanced studies in visual arts. Examples of funded studies include art camps, extension courses, and higher education. All scholarships are in the form of tuition grant certificates of award. Upon receipt of enrollment notice or course application, the STARS Foundation will forward a check for the amount of the award to the course registrar for credit to the student’s account.

Scholarship applications are distributed to high schools and middle schools in our quadrant, and available in the school office in January. You can download an application in a PDF format from this website. Deadline for submission is March 31^st, with interviews and recipient announcement in May.
