Courtyard Art Phase II Completed

With thanks to Artist Deena Votaw, the many student created pieces have been set in our courtyard. We are proud of our student work, and their attention to detail in the most unusual of mediums: cement. Funded by STARS, students in five grades each contributed to the beauty of our school. Class of 2016- Ocean animals; 2014,15- Leaf pattern stepping stones; 2013- NW native style stamps and coloring; 2012- rock compass and study.
Look for benches, funded by STARS, to be added soon.

Artist Deena Votaw, an expert in the cement medium, guided students throughout the project. Each section grows increasingly complex. Enjoy the pictures. (Sorry we are unable to feature the kids faces showing how much fun it was.)
