Rule A
The axle diameter, only two axels allowed.
The diameter of the axle cannot be more than 3mm across.
Rule B
The axle length.
This means that the axle has to be between 70mm long or less than 42mm long.
Rule C
The axle-bearing diameter.
The axle bearing, plastic straw that goes in the axle hole first, has to be between 4.5mm across the center of the bearing less then 3.5mm.
Rule D
The axle hole diameter.
This means that the hole that the axle goes thru cannot be more than 4.5mm or less than 3.5mm.
Rule E
The bottom of the axle hole above the bottom of the car.
The bottom of your axle hole has to 5mm or more from the bottom of your car.
Rule F
Axle hole from the rear of the car.
The axle hole of your car has to be between 9mm and 100mm from the end of the car.
Rule G
The spacing-bearing diameter.
The line between the centers of the spacer bearing cannot
be less then 7mm or more then 9mm.
Rule H
The vehicle body length.
The body of the car (from the front to the back) cannot be
shorter then 200mm and cannot be longer then 305mm.
Rule I
The vehicle body height with the wheels on.
The total height of the car cannot be more than 75mm tall
with the wheels on.
Rule J
The vehicle body mass with the wheels but without the CO2
cartridge.
The mass of the car with everything but the CO2
cartridge must be under 170 grams but over 45 grams.
This can only be done with the finished production
car. Write n/a in the design column
of the rule sheet. Then when your car
is finished, weigh it on a scale.
Rule K
Vehicle body width, at the axles, from the front to back.
The total width of the car with axles only in the front and back cannot be more than 42mm or less than 35mm.
Rule L
The vehicle body width with the wheels.
The total width of the car with wheels in the front and back cannot be more than 80mm.
Rule M
The power plant hole depth.
The power plant hole is where you put the CO2 cartridge. This hole must be no less than 50mm and no more than 52mm deep.
Rule N
The power plant safety zone thickness.
This means that from the inside edge of the power plant
hole to the outside edge of the wood, the thickness cannot be less then 3mm.
Rule O
The power plant chamber diameter.
The diameter of the
power plant hole has to be between 19mm and 20mm.
Rule P
Power plant location-C/L from the bottom of the body.
This means that from the center of the power plant hole to
the bottom of the car cannot be less then 31mm or more then 35mm.
Rule Q
The screw eye inside diameter.
The eye screw diameter has to be between 3mm and 5mm.
Rule R
The screw eye spacing.
The screw eyes have to be no less than 155mm and no more than 270mm.
Rule S
The front wheels diameter.
The diameter of the front wheel needs to be between 32mm and 37mm.
Rule T
The front wheels width at the greatest diameter.
Wheels width at greatest diameter cannot be less then 2mm
but it cannot be more then 5mm.
Rule U
The rear wheels diameter.
The diameter of the rear wheel needs to be between 30mm and 40mm.
Rule V
The rear wheels width at the greatest diameter.
Wheels width at greatest diameter cannot be less then 15mm
but it cannot be more then 18mm.
Rule W
The wheelbase.
The distance between the axles cannot be less then 105mm
apart or more then 270mm apart.
