Tools to Teach
: Volunteer and Parent Guides to Literacy at Brier Elementary
These guides are designed to help volunteers and parents better understand how reading and writing is taught at Brier Elementary. The guides include descriptions of literacy areas, common ways to help by grade level as well as reference cards to give parents and volunteers ideas on what to say and do when helping a student.

For further questions and comments about the guides as well as information about a training session in literacy, contact Todd Parker

Volunteer Handbook - The Volunteer Handbook provides those who wish to volunteer with a comprehensive list of opportunities as well as the necessary forms.
